hi guys
inthe guide it says ur family is nt ur father or mother ,sister or brother
but at the end the additional family form asks questions about ur family
it says ur children is ur family and u have to record it there whether they are accompanying you or nt but thre's no children in my side
what about the additional family?

iam confused/
help me out

In one section 'family' only includes your spouse/common-law partner/conjugal partner and children. These are the people who also need to send photos and medicals.
Later there is a section that asks for information about your additional family members. In this section you just list your brothers and sisters. There is also a section where you have to list your parents. These 'extra' people do not have to submit photos or medicals.

Your "extended" family is not eligible to be sponsored . . . so they are not included on the application for permanent residence (IMM0008). They are, however, listed on the Additional Family Information form (IMM5406). Only the applicant's dependent children are required to be included on IMM0008 and medically examined . . . as well as criminally examined if over age 18.

In the Immigrant's Guide (p. 12) it says that "You and each of your family members 18 years of age or over, whether accompanying you to Canada or not, must complete their own copy of this form."

What exactly does that mean? I am applying for myself and my common law partner is sponsoring me. No kids for either of us.

Does my boyfriend need to fill one out? My parents?

Additional Family Information (IMM5460) doesn't mention other people filling it out.

The p. 12 reference means only the sponsored person and his/her children, and the spouse/partner if not a Canadian citizen or PR.
In your case you fill it out. Your boyfriend - who is your sponsor - does not, nor does he need to submit photos or the medical.
Your parents do not fill it out either.

The Additional Family Form asks for info about your family, and in this case they want your parents and siblings' information. But again, no photos or medicals.

i dont have any kid nor my spouse so,
do i have to complate the second page of parmenant residance or imm008 generic page
