Additional documents to?

Hi,

I have not submitted my Police clearance certificate during the initial submission.
My file number is provided by CIC Sydney, NS. I have my PCC now; Can I mail to CIC Sydney, NS or wait for CIC to ask me for the missing or additional documentation.

Please advice.

HI FRIEND

ITS NOT MANDATORY dat u need to submit the PCC at initial time.. but cic will email u for the additional documents like PCC and other doc s if they wish to see. Do not worry and wait until they ask u to send.

don't wait till CIC send you a query about your PCC send it now.

Hi,
after AOR the files are sent to Ottawa for further processing.
So send the original PCC with all your info (Last name, First name, DOB, UCI, file number, type of application CEC, or FSWP, PNP...)
to: CPC-CTD-Ottawa @ cic.gc.ca

You have to send your PCC by mail, you can't email it.

Send it to:

you're right, I just made a stupid mistake by adding email address instead of mailing address.

Hi Guys,

Really appreciate your responses.
I have decided not to submit additional documentation without a request from CIC. I have taken various extracts from different sources and you may find it useful too; Since we have to submit Original copy of PCC, we shouldn't loose it sending it to a wrong address.

Extract1: From CIC Customer Service:
- Suggested me to wait and they said they cannot tell me where my application would be currently inspite of the fact that file number has been sent by CIC, Sydney. Looks like after file number is generated files may move to Ottawa for the next bit of processing.

Extract2: From PR Document Checklist
"You must be ready to submit when requested by CIC"

Extract3: From the email received when I was notified on my file number
"Please do not send any additional documents unless requested; If additional documents are required you will be provided with an address"


So, may be it is best to wait to avoid worst case scenarios.
