Additional documents required

I just called to CIC guys, they told me this is the bug there are facing last 48 hours.

Did they tell when will status change for people from whom no documents are required??

Not sure what to do here and if this a real request for documents why is there no message.

If this is due to system upgrade when will it change back to normal.

I had the same update. Called CIC today and they confirmed it's a ghost message. They however checked my application status first before given me this info. Its a system glitch. Hope they get it resolved soon

Did you ask the status of your application also? They gave you the details or asked to call back if application is not processed within 6 momths??

Also, how much time did it take to connect to ana agent?

Hello, i had same issue. "We need additional doc to process.." is showing up but no message in message section. When i clicked on "view submitted application" , use of rep form was showing a link which means they require new imm 5476(rep form) form.
So, guys do check your submitted doc links even if you don't see any message or confirm from cic either by call or by email. Better to ensure than delay of providing document.

I opened it and I found that my use of representative form is active (IMM5476). I already provided my 5476 and the cic confirmed but why this is active. please help

Hi, I got the same request additional documents message in my status, but not seeing any request in CIC messages as well as in my mail. am very scary now as its already five months over, if any documents they ask, i dont know how long i am going to wait.

Now the CIC phone number becomes more difficult to reach out than one or two years ago. That's why we need to wait one month for our online enquiry

If your application >6 months, then its unlikely to be pending with CIC. More likely it is awaiting input from various security agencies as part of security checks. GCMS notes help can confirm

Hello, even mine is active too but this morning I got message in message section for additional document schedule a form. So, i think that is just Normal. I have got one new placeholder for schedule-a only not for rep form. You'll get your msg too in 24 hr if they need it. If not call and confirm.

Thanks for the update. Did it just show up? I have nothing there. All the requests are green and uploaded. No extra slots. Also, if you don't mind sharing, what request did you get?
