Adding wife in application while my application is still in process for PR(PNP)

Hello,

can someone please answer my question. what if i have to add my wife with my application which is currently under process in ottawa for permanent residency . I have applied PR under PNP(provincial nominay program) graduate category. do i also need to update PNP and then update my federal PR file ?

how long it will going to delay my PR if i add my wife.
