Adding wife an kid

I just started with my application. There was a question is your wife on this application. If I answer no nothing happens but if I answer yes it asks for wife's details. Do we need to add wife and kid later in the application or shall I go ahead and add wife's details now. Does she also have to give IELTS? if I add her at the beginning of the application.

No IELTS and ECA are optional for your wife, unless you want to claim points.

Can I submit the application without her IELTS for now and later add her IELTS once she clears it. Is that possible?

You can add your wife and kid while you submit your profile. Yes, you can create your account now and once you have your wife's IELTS you can update your profile then.
