Hello everyone my name is Paola and I’m applying as a Federal skilled worker to go to Canada

I am planning to get married this summer and I wonted to know if there are any advantages and disadvantage if I should rush and add my husband to my application.

Because my husband is thinking to finish a project back home, we are in dilemma if we should apply right away along with him on my application as a spouse; therefore we want some advice on this matter based on my concerns as shown below:

1- Will my chances be grater to get approved as a Skilled worker even though I have 72 points ?! I hear there is delays when a couple applies at the some time and the chances are lower to get approved?

2- If I do add my husband on my application which is my full desire, I want to know am I going to be his sponsor with full responsibilities or are we with the same rights?

3- If I do add my husband to my application and my application does get approved will my husband come to Canada the same time as me, or does he come on a later stage?

4- What documentation what the visa office will need as a prove of marriage so I can start preparing a head?

Canada PR-FSW is the family visa. It will not delay if you add your family. You family include your spouse (husband or wife) and your children.

2- If I do add my husband on my application which is my full desire, I want to know am I going to be his sponsor with full responsibilities or are we with the same rights?

If you are principal applicant, then your husband will be your dependent and same think for your child. Spouse education above post secondary will help you to get additional points.

3- If I do add my husband to my application and my application does get approved will my husband come to Canada the same time as me, or does he come on a later stage?

FSW is Family visa. Your family can go together. you can go first and call your husband later.

4- What documentation what the visa office will need as a prove of marriage so I can start preparing a head?

Marriage certificate is required to prove your marriage.

I advise you to apply right now if you have enough points. If you are not married now, apply alone and add your husband later when you marry.

FSW is point based immigration system. It depends on your education, work experience, age, language ability and some other factors.

If you think, you can get more points then you should apply as principle applicant and your husband will be your dependent automatically.

If you believe your husband can make more point then he should be principle applicant and you will be dependent on that case.

Both principle applicant and all dependent get the same rights in Canada.

You must mention all your family members including your spouse whether accompany with you or not.

If you want reply to different thread, please write the link to follow thread..

Good Luck

Thank You for your help again! I am almost clear when you speak of dependency and i see that i hold a ''burden'' if i am principal applicant and that means that i am fully responsible for my spouse but is he dependent of me for a lifetime according Canadian Laws...., or he can work as a independent of me at a certain time??!!

I cannot send you the link about my other concern. It wont allow me to post links. However it is at the very first page somewhere by the end of page : Canada Immigration Forum > Immigration Topics > Skilled Worker / Professional Immigration
Please please check it and advice me. I cannot find any help for weeks and you are the first person to have advised me with professionalism on my case . I was almost giving up hopes.

Let me know and THANK YOU !!!!

Hi Visa expert !

This was the text i was concerned to see if you could possibly help and advice me.

Hello every one my name is Paola and I'm applying as a Federal Skilled worker to go to Canada but my application was denied my first time because low points. If I had a jib offer than my points will raise in total of 72 points which would make me automatically eligible for processing.

Starting by thanking everyone in advance for providing any information on my concerns as show one below, I will try to explain my main concern:

1-How do I find a Job as a cook which would be accepted by HRSDC preferably in Ontario, Toronto.

2-Is it possible to find a job as a cook where the owner whom will offer this job to me is looking for cooks abroad and is willing to wait until the processing of my application and my arriving to Canada.

Thank you again

Paola

It seems impossible to find a job as a cook without any help from someone in CA especially when you live abroad, not to mention businesses might be looking to hire a cooks instantly.

Please advice me on what are my chances on getting this job by finding first a business that will interested on my profession as a cook and secondly the approval from HRSDC.
Thank you again

Paola

Hello,

It is very difficult to get job in Canada by living other country.

The best way to hire a good consultant to get the letter of arrange employment.

Approximately cost for Arrange Employment will be $10,000/- Ten thousand Canadian dollar. It is really expensive.

Beware of some fraud consultant and do not pay any advance payment for arrange emplacement letter.

Where are you from?

I am from Albania. It seems insane they would ask for such amount of money. I am surprised and shocked that Canada is putting such barries to highly skilled workers only for this ones to find a more expensive way on getting in Canada.

I would never be able to come up with that money. Is there a way you may help me Visa Expert?
I see some jobs available at jobbank.gc.ca that fits my experience. I am very well qualified for Mediterranean kitchen and i found in Toronto at least 6 jobs that i know i would be the best cook they ever had.
See, one day i want to have my restaurant in Canada. Please, i do not know what ways is the best to for me to pursue this dream but i will ask you for help. Please advise me. I have a way on calling you at time. Please send me your contact number if you wish.

Thank you so much for ALL the honest answers.

Best regards,

Paola

I can not help you by living in india. Even I want some help to get Arrange Employment Letter or Work permit or Canadian employer who can offer me job there.

I advice you to contact the members who have got the canada visa and are in canada right now. There are many success case here in this forum and many forum member are using this forum still living toronto or any where in canada .

A person who is in canada can only help you, I think.
