I would like to hear your experiences or stories you have heard about the proof of marriage thing as I am not sure what to include. (I am totally aware of the forms package, and have prepared them all already)
So I got engaged last July and planning to add my spouse to my application next month (through a court marriage) as I am expecting PPR any time.
The issue is; since she is studying in a different country we are not planning to throw a party nor to live together in my current country of residence for now. We will do so when we land in Canada.
Yes, we have dating photos, engagement photos, photos with family during gatherings, and will have the marriage certificate from the court definitely. However, we are not living together and we are not doing our wedding party now, until before we land (cultural thing), nor do we have bills or reservations yet.
I have heard that wedding photos and invitations are mandatory, but we will not have any at the time of me adding her to my application.
What are your suggestions and experiences?
