Adding spouse in Express Entry after receiving Invitation from Ontraio

Hello All,

After receiving an Invitation to Apply from Ontario, can one change their marital status and then indicate their spouse as non-accompanying? Adding a spouse typically lowers the CRS Scores, and doing so may make one ineligible to apply for Ontario.

Kindly advise whether to ignore the invitation or include the spouse as non-accompanying.
