eAPR AOR date: Feb 28, 2020
Since wife was pregnant at that time, we deferred the chest xray until after the delivery.
Received Biometrics collection letter on March 6, 2020
Gave Biometrics on August 20,2020 (since the centers were closed until then due to covid)
Baby was born in September
Completed wife’s medicals - chest xray on Oct 3.
Received IRCC letter to submit baby’s documents and fees on Oct 9, 2020
Completed everything by Oct 29, 2020
Since then there has been no updates on my application.
Under application status everything is pending/in-progress except Biometrics(completed)
I submitted a webform inquiry on December 17, 2020 and I received a reply on January 6 saying covid might or might not cause delay.
Does anybody have some insights on the reason for such a delay? Should I be worried?
Is this a normal timeline for these kind of cases? I couldn’t find much information online.
