Hello,
I live in the US and have an approved CoPR and Visa for Canada. But, when I applied, I submitted my application as a non-married (single) applicant. But, now I am planning on getting narried here in the US in next few months and my fiancee is a US citizen.

I have a question on adding my spouse to my application.
- Can I marry my spouse here in the US and enter Canada alone before my Express Entry deadline, get my PR card and return back to the US and then add my spouse to my application later?

If you have approved COPR......once you enter and land as PR in Canada, issued a PR card......your application is complete......and you can't add your spouse.

If you marry before you land as PR in Canada.......and did not inform IRCC of the change in your marital status......it will be misrepresentation and you may not be able to sponsor your spouse for PR.

If you marry after you have landed as PR in Canada.........you will have to sponsor your spouse.

If you plan to marry before you land as PR in Canada.......will suggest you contact IRCC they may be able to help you change your marital status and add your spouse.
