Hi Guys

I got an ITA on Sept 8th draw, submitted my application on October 17th (inland FSW)

Now I am planning to get married and update my application by adding my wife's name. Is this feasible enough????

I calculated my score with updated info, it comes to be increased by 1, so it is not impacting my ITA score

Also, what all documents we require to do this, please guide me to a link if any

Thanks

Just note that your CRS score will go down. People who add Spouse to their application always get a lower score. See this website link and notice that with spouse always gives a lower score:

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/express-entry/grid-crs.asp

Your wife needs to do:

1) Language Test
2) Medical Test
3) ECA for her Educational (non-Canadian)

I realized this now when double checked, thank you JoacRy, the score reduces

Can i still apply if my score is within the ITA cut off of my draw??

very confusing this dependent process seems

Your score won't be recalculated as you got married after submitting your application. Just send a CSE about this and get your spouse's medicals and PCC(s) done. Also be prepared with additional POF.

All the best!
