Does anyone knows about "Add on" of family member to permanent resident application as a conventional refugee? Gosh, I've posted here before, but I'm actually getting frustrated of waiting from since Feb 2011.I've added my husband to my PR application in jan 2012, since then we've had two children together, yet cic has not come to a decision yet?Medical procedure has been completed in August 2015, still no decision. .what can possibly be wrong? Omg

If you have 2 children between 2012 and now, it means they were born in Canada since you posted in the refugee section that's why im assuming this, therefore they are Canadian citizens and there's no need to add them.

Precisely, they are Canadians so I'm not trying to add them to my application. My problem is the longgg drawn out wait from Feb 2011 to present to be granted permanent resident as a conventional refugee. .I've added my husband a year after I've applied and according to what I've been told, it's the add on that is holding up the application. But I'm trying to argue the fact that is has been soo long and I would think that since we have children together , it should not have been this long..

Ops, Imisunderstood your post, but indeed it's a lomg time and you should've been done with it already.
Order the GCMS if you're familiar with it to see what's going on exactly. Other than this, just pray and wait dear.

Thank you I actually did the GCMS and their reply was " the application is in process"..I totally understand the wait but not this long..My husband has a daughter who he has not seen for almost 8 years , plus she haven't met her siblings yet.It is killing us...
