Can we get 5 adaptability points if mothers sister is residing in canada? As I read on the immigration site its mentioned paternal Aunt or Uncle, which as of I understands fathers brother and sister kindly clear me on this ..

Yes. If she is residing in Canada and is a PR or citizen. But, you will have to prove these claims, and that she is your aunt.

Hello Qasimmd,

Adding to what sharedknowledge has rightly said. To prove that she is your aunt you will have to provide birth certificates of your mother and your aunt showing their common parents i.e. your maternal grand parents or any equivalent proof.
