Hi All,
I have a question regarding the Adaptability factor under the federal skill worker application. It says there "Award five points for a minimum of one year of full-time work in Canada on a valid work permit for an applicant or accompanying spouse or common-law partner." Let's assume I have work on a job (skill type B) for part time in Canada for 2 years, 20 hrs/week while I am doing my Master, using the off-campus work permit, so I will get 15 points for the Experience factor, but will I get that 5 points from this Adaptability factor? It says "one year of full-time work in Canada" there instead of saying "one continuous year of full-time, paid work experience or the equivalent in part-time continuous employment" as it does in the Experience factor.
The description in the Adaptability factor is not that clear, imo, as it does not say if the work has to be continuous nor if the work has to be under the NOC type 0, A, or B. Any response will be appreciated. Thanks.
