Acknowledgement Receipt

Greetings!

Will the immigration give a notification the moment they receive the application package sent to their base? The courier sent us a tracking document showing that the package was received but we haven't received any notification yet from the CIC. Do they only give a notification/acknowledgment only if they'll inform you the status of the application?

The current wait time for acknowledging the package if it is indeed complete is somewhere in the region of 3 months if it is an Outland application. Inland apps I believe average 4-6 weeks for aor.
