Hello everyone!

First the following:

DISCLAIMER: Since there is no straight forward data in the forums about Export/Import of vehicles from the US to Canada, I wanted to share my experience to, hopefully, help with any confusions or frustrations. As said, MY EXPERIENCES, so therefore meaning I am NOT by all means a professional exporter nor have I ever done this before. Everyone has a different vehicle and situation. What I hope to accomplish here is to help those in need of assistance to, well, Export/Import their Vehicles. Be free to add to or suggest changes to what I share so others can benefit from this. Thanks and good luck to you all.

Hey
I shared the link below in response to a thread you started earlier. I hope you took a look it as it highlights the AESDirect process? http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/export-import-of-vehicle-aes-queenstonlewiston-t278119.0.html

What I have learned from most posts concerning the AES Direct process is: most people pay a fee that, which varies by the transport company(highest I've seen was $65), to upload the vehicle info for them to obtain an ITN. You may not have to deal with all the trouble that comes with AES...

I went to 3 different pay for export services. I figured out what information they ask for and what the outcomes are to complete my own AESDirect filing. If it worked we will find out once I land. If it works then I will post more details :D.

For AES direct ITN generation, Simplified Trade Solution charges US $35 (if you want to avoid the hassle of taking the training course and doing all by yourself). They are the cheapest.

Well I landed yesterday and exporting the vehicle went without a hitch? The only training video I watched was working with ACE, which if you watch the entire video and follow it to the letter is easy.

I will share the rest later.

You are a life saver dude!!! I was struggling for few days to find someone to file ITN for me. Most freight forwards refused to help while others were charging huge amount.

Odd. I am unable to modify the original post I made on this thread. I am going to create a new thread later.
