I am intending to take two younger kids along for masters program in British Columbia,Can anyone comment what important points shouls I consider to avoid Visa rejection?reply sooner

Your case is really no different from any other. You must include evidence that demonstrates you have strong ties to your home country and have no plans to remain in Canada long term. This will be more difficult for you to prove since you plan to bring your children. Include as much evidence as possible that shows your ties to your homeland.

Thanks for a quick reply, what about taking my husband along on 6 months stay?do I have to apply for visit visa for him or Temorary resident visa?

A visit visa and a TRV are the same thing. If your husband is from a non-visa exempt country, then he'll need a TRV to visit.

I am leaving my elder kids with their grandparents in my homecountry, can I mention this and their school admission test score (at my own country)as a tie...?can it be helpful or not?I have no idea if it has to be mention or not?reply please

i am in an exactly similar situation as you, btw when u say you are leaving your elder kids with their grandparents,do you have an infant or a toddler you are planning to take along?Even i need a clarity if we need to mention about our kids to show strong home ties. Seniors, if any one can help with this query it wud be great!

The kids Im intending to carry along are kindergarten and 4th grader....I cant leave them alone to suffer at any cost, they need Mom around...so going to Canada is important but not at cost of kids....so definitely I am going to apply with them and at the same time I am not applying for work permit as a query will raised about management....and honestly I have no intentions to work during the course of study....millions of parents are studying with their kids so they shouldn't object when we can satisfy them by our management plan....so If you are carrying kids,I guess not to apply for work permit..or any senior experienced member can help us here....have you filed your application?for which session?
