I was reading my instructions for landing by CIC, what I found confusing was that, the manual says that the CPR and visas cannot be validated if all of your family members have been examined. But in the back page it says that an accompanying family member may accompany or follow the PA, but cannot arrive before the principal applicant.
My wife is overseas and cannot land untill I land. So what of the above is true ? From what I understand is that the PA has to land first. But this line " Your visa(s) and CPR are only valid if all of your family members have been declared and examined". - Does that mean my wife has to be there during my landing ? But from what I understand reading the other page is that the PA can land first and the accompanying family member can land with or follow the PA. I have my appointment this week, so I wanted to clear out everything.

Please let me know if I need to know anything else ?

Thanks

1. CIC means by examined that your wife had the medical.
2. The principal applicant lands first, and your spouse can land anytime after, as long as her COPR is still valid.

Thanks. I did my landing today(Inland). It was a great experience, took about 15-20 minutes for the IO to complete all the formalities and then do a quick counseling. I was only asked for COPR and my Passport along with my valid WP. I am glad it wasn't at a border or at the airport. Its so convenient landing inside Canada as opposed to exiting and landing again. Takes a bit of time, but went all fine.
