Hi,

I have applied for september intake and will most probably land up in Niagara college, Ontario...just wanted to know how much does the accomodation cost ?? which is the best option among the on campus, off campus housing (shared) and homestay ?? and also which is the cheapest ?? Thanks in advance.
 
Off campus or homestay is cheaper than on campus.

Thanks Scylla..could you tell me how much would it would cost me approx ?? or is there any way I can search and reserve for a cheaper accomodation while i am in India ??

You can try checking the housing section of Craig's List for the Niagara Region:

Hi nandu, great to know that am not alone. I am from kokata.where are u from ?

I have applied for hotel management.....I also got the offer letter..am bit confused with the fee structure as the fee is comparatively higher than GBC and Conestoga (my other two options), but it includes medical insurance(which again is important)....but I still find the fees slightly high.


And yes I will be needing that information for sure buddy....in fact i have spent hours searching for it. please share any info on it...and I'l do that same.

Thats great even I will be applying for Hotel Management 1 Year PG course as I already completed my Graduation... Am from Kerala.. currently in Bangalore... What is the fees mentioned coz considering the course which am applying Niagara has the lowest of my choices... How much time did it take for the offer letter?

Regarding the info I can let u know in some time coz my friend is kind of busy as this is his Co Op term. I will contact him as soon as possible..

Mine is a two years course.....I had a gap of 3 years for my graduatrion...thus doing the UG course. I have checked out other stuff and Niagara so far seems to be the best choice even though the total fees has a difference of around 1500 c$...but since we'll be going for the hospitality course Niagara definitely is a better choice..just a li'l dissapointed. The offer letter took around 20 days...and regarding the room...we'll wait for your friend and meanwhile lemme search the craiglist and the site suggested by Kijji...BTW sent you a mail on your gmail.
 
I'am also going to attend Niagara College for September..
As on campus accomodation is expensive, so i contacted college and they gave me some links for off campus cheaper accomodation,
the thing is that, if students live in shared rooms then accomodation is very cheap, like if 3 students in a room that is 300$ per month, if 2 per room then 450$ per month and similarly 4 students per room costs 225$ per month..
What are your ideas?
 
^^^ thats i definitely a gud idea..it wud be great if we all search sites like craiglist and al.and select a oo for ourselves, before we arrive..that ways it woukd be so easy for all of us.

I submitted my application on 23rd April and now waiting for approval, What is your status?
We could find a room to stay together to make it cheaper..
