Accommodation Proof for Spousal Sponsorship

Dear Xperts,

I am a PR holder working in Toronto, applying for my wife's PR now. All set to post the application package. Couple of questions before taking a final shot.

1) I am staying with a friend now and I added a cover letter to Imm Officer saying that ' I am sharing my accommodation with friend, but will take a new lease as soon as my wife arrives to Canada, till then this is my contact address with address'

Is this enough of is it better to mention that I am staying as a paying guest or any other suggestions for me ?

You should be fine. Suggestions? Start looking into a new place for the two of you, three is generally a crowd in an apartment. You can ask your wife what's more important to her in terms of location. Start saving for your deposit and last month's rent.
