Today I had my hearing and I’d like to say a big thank you to this forum it really helped me and guided me throughout. My claim was accepted on the table. Here’s my timeline

entered Canada -October 2021
Filed claim -January 2022
Medical -march 2022
Eligibility -July 2022
Work permit -August 2022
Less complex letter -August 2022
Submitted docs -September 2022

You need to be in Canada to apply for asylum. So you need to apply for a TRV showing funds to pay for your visit, travel history, ties to home country and reason to travel.

I am in Toronto and I had 2 sessions with my council for preparation. Don’t be stressed, just know your story. All my questions came from my story nothing from the BOC form. It lated 40mins

That sounds good. How did you get the sessions from the council? I signed up for ReadyTour but haven't heard back. Was it a regular hearing or short?
