Congrats @Vishal

Thanks mate :)
I have a couple of questions related to the documents.

a) Do I need to get the Copy of Degrees and marksheets attested by notary or some kind of True copy stamp along with WES Report?
Attestation by notary or true stamp is not required. Only attach the highest degree along with the corresponding WES report. That will be sufficient.
b) Can I give the medical exam from India as I am currently in India for 15 days due to prior plans? Or I have to give it from Dubai only?
It really doesnt matter from where you take your medical exam. You have the freedom to take the medical exam from any place.
c) How is the letter of explanation made? Is it on some stamp paper? or on a simple piece of paper. I have a gift deed from my father. Where shall I attach it? With the letter of explanation or with the proof of funds.
Letter of explanation can be typed on a simple piece of paper.
Attach the gift deed with the letter of explanation and also with the proof of funds.
Awaiting reply on the same. Thanks.

Hello guys,

I have received PPR yesterday from AD Office, AOR 8th of October, BG changed yesterday to In Process.

One of the passport submission requirements says:

"Ensure that your passport is valid for at least 12 months from the date of this letter."

However, my wife's passport expires on the 6th of September 2016 (after 7 months). Would this affect my submission and visa issuance?

Your feedback highly appreciated :)

Congrats on your PPR :)

When any one submit his/her passport for visa, the validity of the passport should be at least for a period of 6 (months). That is a minimum requirement. An extended validity above six months are always good.

The validity of the visa will be ONE year from the date of medical or expiry date of the passport which ever comes early.

In your case, your application will be fine and it wont affect your submission and visa issuance.

Good luck :)

Congrats on your PPR!

As far as I know, the passport needs to be valid for at least 6 months ... and you need to land before your medicals expire or else you have to repeat them.

Can you please share your timeline and details (FSW, PNP..etc) ?

Many thanks for your reply. In fact most of the Visa offices ask for 6 months validation of passport except few of them. I sent the passports anyway yesterday and will be waiting for the good news hopefully :)

My medical completes one year in September as well.

I hope to get PPR soon. I do not understand why it is delayed for long time. According to GCMS notes all three elements (Criminality, Eligibility and Medical) were passed and GCMS notes updated on 25 November 2015.

In addition, i do not understand why they requested Schedule 4 which was submitted along with application. This was clearly written on GCMS notes by Ottawa. Also, non-accompanying dependents acknowledgement form.

However, i submitted them both. Hope to hear something by this week.

But, still i can not understand why this was progress since 25 Nov 2015 where all key elements were completed. :(

Schedule 4 request is their system flow
Don't worry about that
We have to be patient

Good Luck
