Strange!! Have you tried to check your ecas? Check if your status has changed from "in process" to "decision made". As for heading to Canada from your home country, I think it will be fine. Since you have your visa stamped on your passport, you can travel from any place.

Yes i provided the police clearance, and no i did not receive the PPR yet, i think that one will take somewhere between 1 month to 3 months to show up on my email inbox.

There is something strange, i received an email notification from cic saying that my account has been updated, but when i log in to my account, i find nothing new, this happened to me 2 times now, one time on 19 October and another one today 25 October, did anyone had the same experience before with the cic system?

also i would like to ask you guys about something, as some of you know, i work and live in Qatar (not my country), and i did apply for PR from here, so my question is, once i get the PR Visa do i have to go directly from the current country of residence to Quebec, or can i travel back to my country to get some of my stuff and visit family and friends then go to Quebec?

Once you get your Visa, you can go back home, spend some time with the Family and they you can travel directly from there.

Bacteria, with the Maple Leaf on your Passport you can even travel from Mars or Jupiter to Canada without any issues. You can go back to your home country, have some quality time with your loved ones, celebrate your achievement and then book your flight to Montreal!!!

Now i have one last thing. I've changed my address (same city, same country of course).
in the PPR they state that i should immediately update them of any changes like marriage, birth of a child or address, so i did.

the question is, should i send the passport, 2 photos and PPR like they instructed me, or should i wait for them to send a new PPR with the updated address on it? since the one i've received has the old address?

I said it.....you opened the way...congrats. i think you should send them your passports as requested with the updated address. And i advice you to give your updated address to the courrier so that your passports should be returned safely.
