Yes it is showing in progress. Does that mean anything?

Did you track when that change took place? Based on my experience it was a significant point.

Yes Cmak it started showing in Progress around February 5th. That was 2 weeks ago. I submitted one pcc from home country when applying last year Jan and a second pcc from my current country of residence in December 2016 as per their request....together with rprf. Can you please explain what this in Progress means and can you share how it was in your case? Thanks

It simply means that background check has started. I would look forward to results as of the 4th week. That's when my case changed to decision made and got PPR three days later.

When I was in the waiting queue, I tried to check other cases and the background check length was between 3 and 8 weeks.

Mabrook Mgazi you are in my prayers as well. It won't be long and we all will get through with this. Just hang in there I think we are all approaching or already in the last quarter of our journey!!

Ok that's encouraging. I look forward to getting some good news in the next few weeks!! God's time is the best

Dear,

I sent note to ADVO on 20th Feb-2017 that my processing time will be finished (13 months) on 21th Feb-2017 but still no answer.

They replied...

" The file remains in the active processing queue. At this time we are unable to provide any specific timeframes as to when this application may be finalized. please note that files are processed on a first-come first served basis."

Thanks to let me know if there are missions scheduled anytime soon for the UAE or the Middle East in general? How do we get updates about that anyway??
Thanks and good luck for all

Hi brother,

This is really ridiculous. We already passed the average processing times they have announced on their website and yet they haven't started looking into our files. I wonder if there is anything that can be done from our side to make them start processing our files. It seems like they forgot about us.

I just can't believe what I'm seeing. Please bro my advice: 1) Relax. 2) Get a Consultant or Lawyer asap.
ADVO is ridiculous.

Hello Bro,

I am availing the services of a consultant in deed.
I have requested them to advice what would be better at this stage.

I hope I can come back with some good news.

I was really hoping things will finish before July as I am planning to move back home. but it seems the journey is still far away to be completed.
well, let's see what will happen..
