Hi lovely friends, I got Canadian PR through FSW visa. I landed in Canada on 29-May-2011. I got my PR card on 22-Sep-2011. i.e. My PR card will expire on 22-sep-2016. I came back from Canada on 03-Dec-2011 after residing there for approximately six months.Now since 03-Dec-2011 I am residing outside Canada [India]. My question is that whether the period of PR card validity will be calculated from 22-Sep-2011 to 22-sep-2016 and after 22-Sep-2011 I have stayed there for 75 days or It will be calculated from 29-May-2011. My straight forward question is that to fulfill the eligibility of 2 years residency in Canada what is the latest date up to which I can stay in India..20-Sep-2014 or 01-Dec-2014? Thanx for giving ur precious time...
About the validity of PR Card

Any calculations for determining the residency obligation requirements are taken from the date that you LAND if it's less than 5 years ago. It is not taken from the date(s) on your PR card. If you have been a PR for more than 5 years, it is taken from a date exactly 5 years from today.
