I sent my study permit application on July 21 and completed biometrics on July 24.
Yesterday my BG check changed to "We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information." but eligibility did not start yet.
Current Status:
Review of eligibility: Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start reviewing your eligibility.
Review of medical results: You do not need a medical exam. We will send you a message if this changes. (Not required in my country)
Review of additional documents: We do not need additional documents.
InterviewHelp: You do not need an interview. We will send you a message if this changes.
BiometricsHelp: July 24, 2020 Completed.
Background check: We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information.
Final decision: Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made.
My university is starting on January 1 (Ph.D.). What do you think, guys? I know it is highly unpredictable due to the COVID-19 situation. Is it normal my eligibility hasn't started yet?
