Hello Buddies :D

Being a New User Firstly i would have like to have a "Hi" to all :)

Well Here's Little about me
I Studied Non-Medical in ISC (ICSE), did IELTS with 7.5 bands, got admitted in Seneca College in Computer Engg. Technology for September Session.
I Gave my File to Embassy on 08/08/12 and by Today or maybe Monday, I m gonna get the decisionHope it says Accepted ;D .

Well, I Came here to ask about I would be immigrating to Canada from India, I won't be renting a Hostel coz that gonna save me a lots of bucks, so i would be looking for house to rent, I talked to my agent regarding this and he told me not to worry and said me that I will easily find a rental House but i am bit actually lot confused and tensed . Being totally new to a new culture, I just Don't know how it would be. he told me that as you arrive canada you will be first taken to the college and there you will get a something like a guide who will help you find a house. I just want to know that will it be the same scenario? or Please help me to guide me in this.
Any information required would be provided if asked
help appreciated

With Regards,
Mannu

Every university/college has International student office which help the new incoming students to adapt to the new culture and help out them in opening bank account, Renting a house etc etc......OR you can contact some students already studying there, they can also help u in this regard...........

Okey thanks .... Hope I too get help.Tenses a lot about it and Visa Decision too.... Fingers Crossed

Residing at a hostel is a good way to get acquainted with the culture of the native Canadians and you will make a lot of friends. But I'm not too sure if Seneca College has a dormitory. Generally, College's dont have dormitories. International student's office will help you set up during the first few days in Canada. They will probably appoint a mentor for you who will help you out with things like showing important places around and maybe help you find a place to stay.

Hope it had a dormitary . By the way thnks for such a usefull information
