About Proof of fund: Senior Members please help

Hi,

I am about to accept in canadian university because professor emailed me about funding. He told he will provide $ 30,000 annually.

University annual tuition fee: $ 16,000

According to CIC, we have to show proof of tuition fee+10,000+travel expenses.

in my case, 16,000+10,000+3000(travel expenses)= $ 29,000. Since this $ 29,000 is easily covered by funding provided by university, do I need to show bank balance in Nepal? If yes, how much average do I need to show?

You don't have to show bank balance as long as you have LOA stating the scholarship amount, terms and conditions.
