NOPE Man.
CIC recommends that the PCC should not be older than three months when you apply/send your application.
The validity of the PCC, in this sense, has nothing to with the 3 months recommended by the CIC.

Here take a look at this extract from EG7:

Police All applicants must submit police certificates/clearances as part of
certificates the application process.

Note: Do not submit your police certificates to the CIO. If your application
is recommended by the CIO for further assessment, you will be
required to submit the police certificates along with the full
application to the Canadian Visa Office indicated on your
application.

You and all of your family members who are 18 years of age and older and
who are not permanent residents or Canadian citizens will have to provide:

• a valid police certificate, or
• a police clearance, or
• a record of no information.

These documents are to be provided for each country other than
Canada, in which you have lived for six consecutive months or longer
since reaching the age of 18.

Note: If you or your family members were under 18 years of age
(16 years of age in certain jurisdictions) for the entire time you lived in a
particular country, you do not need to provide a police certificate for that
country.

You may begin to gather your police certificates before submitting your
application to the CIO. Although you will not submit the police certificate
to the CIO, you must be ready to submit them to a visa office if your
application is recommended for further assessment at a Canadian visa
office. When you submit the application to the visa office please ensure
that your certificates were not issued more than three months before you
submitted your application to the CIO.

For applicants requiring multiple police certificates ( Multiple here means from different countries), please be certain these
documents can be produced at the time of the submission of your
application to the Canadian visa office.

Hmm, not sure in your case. JULY to DEC is more than 3 Months.
It states:
When you submit the application to the visa office please ensure that your certificates were not issued more than three months before you submitted your application to the CIO.

Hi,

I have a question for old applications. Old applicants (before simplified applications) who have already submitted their PCC with their original applications (mandatory), will have to re-submit at the time of document update. Please comment.

Hey, the sentence here is really confused. I have the same situation.
I thought "submit the application" is the date you sent all your application. But Not the date you submit the PCCs. I am really confused now.

Thanks

Dear ZA,

The CHC shall ask u to submit ur latest PCCs either with the doc update or during the med request. But, yes, they'll definitely ask u for it again. However, do not take preemptive actions & await their call.

Regards.

Yes, the PCC should not be more than 3 months old when u submit ur apps to the CHC/CIC.

In more detal it means, whenever u send ur PCCs to them, either with 2nd stage docs, or when again asked for (during meds, if it is), that time ur PCCs should not be more than 3 months old. If it is so, they'll ask u to redo it.

Yes and no. Only one PCC from each country, except for the US, you need one at the federal level (FBI) and one at each state level that you had lived in for longer than 6 months. So in a way, US has a unique requirement of multiple PCC from the same country.
