Hi my name is Happy. my concern is about permanent residency. I got married on 2nd of August 2019 . My wife is permanent resident here but she is divorced from her first husband. There were some issues between them like we can say domestic violence issues. She was sponsored spouse . She came here in canada in august 2017 . Her first husband got died . I am also in canada onstudent visa . So my question is that can she apply for my permanent residency or not ?

No she wasn’t charged . She was the victim of violence. Her ex husband was charged for that
If she obtained her PR status through spousal sponsorship and landed in Canada and became a PR in 2017 - then she has to wait five years from that date before she will be able to sponsor you for PR. So she will qualify to sponsor you sometime in 2022.
