if the dependent meets all requirements then why would they be rejected.
anyway did you not just send your documents in Aug 2014. Have you been approved as sponsor yet or is there a problem with your file.

There are very few reasons a dependent would ever be rejected under a family class application. Some of those reasons are:
- if child was not declared/didn't do medical in parent's own PR application
- if child fails medical (very rare unless they had some contagious/dangerous illness)
- if child didn't qualify as a dependent (so if they were over 18)
- if CIC did not believe the child was actually biological child of parents, or they failed a requested DNA test
- in cases of adoption, if CIC feels it was an adoption of convenience

Other than these main issues, there is no reason CIC would otherwise deny a child's PR application.

In the earler applications ..the age limit for dependent was 21 years with regular studies(no gap in studies)

Yes indeed, if this was a parents sponsorship app submitted several years and you were a Type B dependent (age 22 or over but in school full time) ago then would revise my list of reasons for rejection as follows:
- if dependent fails medical due to excessive demand on healthcare
- if child didn't qualify as a Type B dependent. So if they stopped full-time studies during app processing, or became married/common-law during processing
- if CIC did not believe the dependent was actually biological child of parents, or they failed a requested DNA test
- in cases of adoption, if CIC feels it was an adoption of convenience

Were you 21 or 22 at time you submitted the application? If 21, you would be a Type A dependent based on age alone, and would not need to care about if you were in school or not today as your age is locked in at time of application.

can u name the diseases which will demand excessive demand for health care ? Is asthma included in that list?

I was Type B dependent with proof of financial support from my parents and no gap in my studies and doing master in my field of education and am unmarried.

There is no list, each case is looked at independently. Whether asthma would be a factor in excessive demand depends on if it's a mild, normal or extreme case, and if you've ever been hospitalized for it in the past. I would imagine though if it's just a normal case, there wouldn't be an issue.

I have no idea. You should perhaps check in the thread dedicated to your visa office.
