About over time work

Hello my friend is on student’s permit he arrived at Canada on ending of August 2022 and get work from two different employers and he started working from September 16 2022 and work 20hr each for both employers before the 20hr was extended to full time on October 7, 2022 and now he’s scared that it might affect he’s work permit after school. Please guys he need an advice but I don’t know what to tell him.

All you can tell him is to be truthful and see what happens. He didn’t work overtime as your title suggested, he worked for two employers at full time hours.

Yes he worked 20hr for company and worked another 20hr at different company each week from September 16, 2022 before they extended full time work for students at October 7, 2022
