About my spouse... Pls help me..

Dear valued readers,
I have been enjoying this forum alot and i have a question. It would be very kind if you could assist me.

After how long one can sponsor her spouse if she has gone on study visa to canada? Sponsor means call him for work permit. As i went through the forum, i found the members saying, a spouse should always apply for open work permit if his/her partner is studying in canada. But don't know the time.

There is no special amount of time that has to pass. Your spouse could actually have applied for it at the same time you applied. Since they didn't, they can do it now.
