I am new to the forum and it will be great if the seniors and more experienced could assist me with the following questions.
I'm from Hong Kong, more than 20 years old
I was already accepted by Douglas College for 2-year Hospitality Management Diploma
My problem is I don't know what documents I need to have with my proof of finanacial support.
I found some PDF Files from internet
they seems like official file but I couldn't find them in CIC or hongkong.gc.ca
and inside the files there are more documents required which are not mentioned in both CIC and hongkong.gc.ca

FAMILY COMPOSITION / DETAILS OF EDUCATION AND EMPLOYMENT
QUESTIONNAIRE AND FINANCIAL SUMMARY
As for Document Checklist in it, is different to IMM5483E (Document checklist for a study permit),
which including the following documents:
- ORIGINAL or CERTIFIED TRUE COPIES of your last three years’ school TRANSCRIPTS and PUBLIC EXAMINATION CERTIFICATES
- 1 notarized copy of any UNIVERSITY OR COLLEGE DIPLOMA, DEGREE, CERTIFICATE granted
- MISREPRESENTATION IS AN OFFENCE
- QUESTIONNAIRE AND FINANCIAL SUMMARY
- STUDY PLAN
- 1 copy of official receipt or letter from the school.
PROOF OF FUNDS
- Written explanation and calculation showing the sources and accumulation of
funds.
- 1 original letter of employment
- Documentary proof of family or sponsor income in the form of the Salaries Tax Return
I have no idea I should follow these pdf file to prepare required documents,
or just follow what is required from CIC and hongkong.gc.ca
if I just follow what is required from CIC and hongkong.gc.ca,
I only need to prepare the following files:
- Application For Study Permit Made Outside of Canada (IMM 1294)
- Family Information (IMM 5645)
- Document Checklist (IMM 5483)
- Proof of acceptance from college
- Recept of tuition fee
- Bank Satement
- Two photos
- copy of passport
- Fee HKD 990
That's all really?
No study plan, school transcript........
No need to show proof of sponsor income...?
I also have another question...
I lend money from my grandma and saved it into my bank
Do I need to write a letter to point out the source of this amount and related documents?
or only need to make bank statement?
