About Getting PR Visa

I applied for PR 1.5 years ago, and went through the physical exam.
Last month, I received an email from buffalo canadian consulate, they asked me to submit my passport and they will issue me visa for PR. My friend told me, in her PR application process, she only got mail not email, so I should wait for the mail (not email) from consulate with the proper instuctions of visa application. I have been waiting for 1 month since I got the email. I want to know if I need to continue waiting for the mail, or I should just go ahead to the consulate to get visa with printed email.

There will be no other mail. In your email there should be a deadline and links to all the instructions on how to submit your passport & photos. Just go ahead and get it before you miss your deadline.

This person is not a true friend, as things have changed since she got her PR visa. That email is the only instruction you'll get and it should have a link or attachments of forms and instructions on what to bring and how to proceed.

Please proceed immediately to get your visa stamped on your passport. And Congratulations ;D
