About collecting PCC from PSK in India

After police verification, do the applicant need to visit PSK himself to collect PCC, or can anyone else collect it on the applicant's behalf?

when you had applied for pcc at PSK and when you had received call for police verification?

In my case i had applied on 31st march but till today not revd any call for police verification and i had also contact will local police station but they had told me that they had not received my application from PSK.

That is not normal! Which PSK was it?
I had appointment at Amritsar PSK on 13th April, police verification was done on 15th April. Now waiting for the PCC to be ready.

Since it is an online process now, the police station receives documents within 24 hours. This is not normal.

In my case it took police THREE ******* weeks to give me a call regarding police verification, after apply for PCC in Pune PSK, i used to go to police station twice a week and they always used to say that they ll call me when they get my file.

Once police verification is done at my home, i got the sms to collect the PCC after 2 days.
