To Kur761,

it shows in process`We satrted processing your applic...................

Yes, same status is coming now , but before that "application received" was coming. This time they mentioned the date in which they started processing.

I ordered my CAIPS notes in Jan,2011 in which my case was retired from CAIPS to GCMS on 15-11-2010 and under PSDEC = 9 and the rest is "0".

Do you know what does it mean by 9?

Hi Kur761,
I am sure since the GCSM is a new service , surely the codes mean different things. I have not seen from the forum a sample GCSM code, so only the experts can say something. Lets wait .

Were they any comments in your GCSM? maybe from the comments you cold guess what 9 stands for.

Lets wait for the experts.

Dear Kur761,

PSDEC is Paper Screening Decision and I think it was done for ur docs . In my CAIPS Notes PSDEC was done in my early stage after submitting my docs, but SELECTION DECISION (SELDEC) was done after one year and its usually waived for all. It seems that ur application is under processing and needs more time. Be noticed that GCSM this system has different symbols.

Now, I checked my status mentioning one additional line that "We started processing your application on March 11,2011."

Doest it mean to receive any reply from CPPO-OTTAWA very soon?

Regards,

It means that ur long journey just started ;). My application started processing in 2007 and still waiting for my MR :-\. I hope u will get ur update letter soon and get ur MR sooner than me! Be relaxed and patient :).

Cheers

R U Ottawa paalicant which were transfered from London? Or still you are London applicant? Because most of my colleagues in Dubai have been transfered to Ottawa VO.

London office :(

Yes, U R right when my file was in London office, the online status came after submitting my application "in process". But this time they were mentioning first "application received" and then after some months "in process."

Don't worry you and others who are waiting their MR will receive brown envelope with white shining paper requesting for medical.

All the best!!!!

Keep updating us.

Dear Sama2007,

As you have resonable knowledge on Canadian Immigration. One of my known persons who applied to London office from Dubai and transfered to CPPO-OTTAWA later on. He submitted his Docs. in July,2010 and got MR in Sept.2010. He did not submit his medical on time as he was not here. My question is will it impact on his processing time?

Thanks,

Dear Kur761,

It depends on how much days he was late! If it was few days( less than one week),it would be fine. But if it was more than this without sending a letter to CHC Office! It wouldnt be a good sign! But we hope that his VO would ignore that. He should check his case or send an email to check if they have received his medical test or not yet?

regards,
Sam
