Hello there, please I need advice of what to do.
So I want to get married in December 2017 in Nigeria, my wife to be lives there right now and I love here in Canada as a permanent resident, I want to apply for a visiting/tourist visa for her so that after our wedding in december we can travel to canada to celebrate our honeymoon, the duration of her stay will be one month, I will cover for expenses and accommodation etc. I intend to give her invitation letter and let the immigration office know our intention to get married in December and her purpose of coming is for honeymoon. Please advice me, what are my chances of getting the visa

Well talking about my own experience my husband is Canadian and we got married in Las Vegas. In August 2016, we applied immediately for the residency status in Canada under the category Family sponsorship. "out-land " we submitted the application in October 2016 and I still waiting for a decision made, its been 8 months. in the other hand while we are waiting. I've just applied online for a Visitor visa to celebrate our 1 year wedding anniversary in August. "I hope they approve it"

The chances of getting the visa is up too the visa office.

I think what might help your fiance is if she has a good job, financial support, proof of previous trips , a US visa might help too.

Thanks Mrs. Champs for the response, my fiancee has traveled to the UK before for studies, I hope this can help too
