Hi everyone,
I have read this statement in the official Canadian government website "A valid visitor visa and travel document doesn’t guarantee that you can enter Canad" and here is the link:

My question is that... how and why will a person be banned from entering Canada after arriving at any Canadian airport while they have already gotten their visa?

Admission into Canada is determined by the CBSA officer who will interview you at the port of entry. It's a separate decision from being granted a visa by IRCC, that's what it essentially means.

The only real way to get banned from entering is by doing or intending something illegal, like bringing in banned goods, or attempting to work in Canada without a work permit; or by some inadmissibility finding like a criminal record.

This is just a very generic/simplified explanation. In most cases, if you are a genuine tourist, you don't have to worry.

if they feel like you will not honor the conditions of your visa or if they feel you lied while applying. Some examples of reasons could be they think you will work in Canada illegally, they think you will not go back to your home country or may overstay, they think you might plan to give birth in Canada, after interviewing you they feel you may not have answered a question accurately on your visa application...etc

Remember someone awhile ago posted on here they had arrived under the pretext of “visiting “, after questioning the visitor it was determined they were here to look for work . Voluntarily withdrew their application and sent on next flight back home
So no, a visa being issued is no guarantee you’ll be admitted.

This is really no different to any non resident entering any country anywhere in the world where whether you are allowed to enter will be determined at the border. A visa for any country never guarantees entry it simply is an authority to travel to a country and if no issues be allowed to enter. Canada could be regarded as one of more traveller friendly countries in the world but if someone tries to play the system the result likely the same , entry denied.

This is common among other western countries......have you not travelled to places like UK or USA ? Heck I think even India questioned me. Places that did not were tourist destinations like Cuba, Mexico, Jamaica. Where have you travelled that you got in without question?

Look like this is UAE entry, otherwise with my 20 plus traveling experience every country border immigration officer ask same question as described above and my recent experience with Canada is :
- why you are here ?
- how many days u will be here?
- your return ticket ?
- how much money do u have plus any other source of money (I showed my CC and online bank account balance)
- where you will stay ?
- who is coming to pick you ?
- what is the status of people coming to pick you ?

And other generic question about food et

The problem is that my friend was planning to visit Canada and visit some of his friends and relatives there along with his daughter for almost a month ... he got his visa 6 weeks ago and his daughter as well, yet some unexpected things have happened, and he will not be able to go, so his daughter decides to go alone and their relatives there will take care of her until she comes back home, because they don't want the visa to expire after getting it.

So will they let her into Canada when she arrives or not? she's 20 years old and can take care of herself.

You are making a problem where there isn't one. They were each issued TRVs and can individually travel if they want or not.

Yes, I know that but there are some reasons that make me worried a little bit. First of all, she is from Iraq and everyone knows that the situation in Iraq is not good at all. The second reason is that they are living outside Iraq because my friend is a diplomatic person working in the embassy of Iraq in Ethiopia. The third reason is that they booked in a hotel but the hotel booking ended 3 weeks ago and of course she will not need it because she will stay with her relatives but the officer in the airport may ask about that and about other documents that belong to her father since there is just a very small paper in her application that was given to the embassy which says that her father will cover all her needs during their journey in Canada, so it could be a problem! Finally, in their applications both they mentioned that they will travel together and she will just accompany her father.

Again, you are making a problem where there isn't one. As long as she has a return flight, proof of financial support and doesn't say a anything stupid like she wants to work or live here, she should be perfectly fine.

Thanks for your answer, of course, she will have a return flight, but she will have 5 thousand US dollars with her because his father's bank account is not international as most of the banks in Ethiopia (it can transfer money to other countries but it take forever and doesn't use cred card or so on), and of course, she doesn't have any bank account.

His father is just worried a little bit since they said in their applications that they will be together and she will just accompany her father, he wants to be sure that his daughter will not get into any problem.
