A refugee claim on the second visit

Hello everyone,

A friend of mine has visited Canada then returned home with clean record. After he returned things started to go wrong. He was kidnapped by ISIS and about to be executed but thank God he managed to escape as there were air strikes from the global coalition. He is now a target by ISIS. He is intending to go to Canada again and claim refugee at the airport. His question is: Will his previous visit to Canada effect on his claim as he has a multi entry visa? He didn't claim on the first visit because had nothing to concern about.

It shouldn't be a problem.

If he can show with evidence that the situation has recently changed - I don't see why he can't apply and his earlier visit shouldn't create any challenges.
