a real dilemma ....plz help all.

dear all.

i was accepted in a research lab in quebec for a paid training under the supervision of a researcher.

the researcher told me to apply for a free student application in order to join his lab for summer ( june , july , august).

i am filing now for the application of free student , i already have a multiple entry visa valid till 2018 and i landed one time in canada this year .

first i wanna ask if is it necessary to get a study permit for the training.?
if i need a study permit for this does this permit affect my existing visa for 2018 ?

i am welcoming any kind of advice and info it will really help .

IMHO unless you are a Post Doctoral Fellow working at a University, you are going to need both a LMO and CAQ to do the work.
