Hi all,
I have a question to those members of this forum who have crossed US-Canadian border frequently or most recently.I came to Canada last ween VIA Peace Bridge NY with couple of my Cousoins who are Canadian Citizens.I am a US Citizen. It was 7'ish in the morning & female Canadian Border agent seemed tired & just asked us where we were going & asked me how long i will stay in Canada but she never took my passport neither my cousoins. Now my question is " Will CBP give me hard time upon entering back into the US coz they won't have my record of entry into the Canada as i've heard that Canadian & US immigration share information with each other "
Any member who have had such an experience ? Thanks .....

@ SocialMe ,Thank u so much for the reply.Just want to ask ,did u have such an experience where ur Passport wasn't even taken out of ur hand by CBSA agent while getting into Canada by land & u were permited to move on within 30 secs ? Im just lil nervous coz I've had a very bad experience with CBA agents & i don't want to go for secondary inspection. Thanks in advance.

Re: For Experienced Members Who've Crossed US-Canadian Frequently

Since you're a US citizen, you can travel freely, be away from the US as long as you wish and will have no trouble getting back into the US.

You won't encounter any issues with Canadian immigration since you will not pass through Canadian immigration when you leave Canada for the US.

@ Scylla,
Thanks for ur reply.I know as a US Citizen i can travel freely whenever, wherever & for as long as i want but wouldn't US Border Agents ask me how & when did i enter Canada since they won't see my record of entry into their system which according to my knowledge they share with their Canadian counterparts ? I've been to secondary search & to be honest that was my worst experience ever. Canadian Border agents are way nicer than American Border agents according to my personal experience.

Re: For Experienced Members Who've Crossed US-Canadian Frequently

They'll ask, but it won't be a big deal. They'll ask anyway, in my experience.

I've been through a few times without getting my passport stamped; my husband only got his stamped on ONE of his visits to me.

I hardly ever get my passport stamped. I think I've only got it stamped 1 out of 15+ trips and never once have I had a problem coming home. Don't worry, you shouldn't run into any problems :)
