Hi!

My wife is doing her taxes and we have a question.

We wonder what she should enter for me/how can she claim for me? Im here on a study permit (applied for sponsorship) and have no income here or in Sweden (just student loan that is not considered an income under Swedish law). She has a kid since before and we are wondering how this is done.

I know the question is really bad written, but we are a bit frustrated with ufile, that says she needs to pay 2000$ after adding me as her spouse.

Does anyone have en experience of this? Do we need to go to H&R Block or something like that instead of trying by ourselves with ufile?

Any help would be awesome :)

As a student, even if you have no income, you should still file a tax return. Enter whatever your net income on your tax return for your wife's tax return (spousal net income amount).
