Hi everyone,

My partner and I are in the process of gathering documents to prove that we cohabited throughout the last year. I have quite a few electricity and heating bills and some ID cards of myself at our residence, but somehow we don't have so much for my partner, just her signature on our initial lease and an internet bill with her name on it.

Here's my question - we do have an official change of address note for her, but we only obtained it halfway through the year. Is it better to include this along with an explanation that she officially changed her address a few months late, or to just exclude it as it might cause confusion?

many thanks for your thoughts ~~

Do you have the internet bill for a whole year? Or at least one bill from the first month?

I would say don't use the change of address form. The lease is the most important thing. Let's see what others think.

I agree the lease is the big one. Lots of pictures showing different times of the year(seasons) and holidays at your house is good too. Perhaps social media posts that indicate you are living together. A joint bank account could help, or showing purchases over the last year. Whatever you can dig up that shows you have been in the same house for at least one year.
