A good experience to share with you!

Hi everyone,
I would like to thank to everybody on this forum as it was most usefull for me during my process!
Anyway I would like to share an amazing expirience me and my hubby had with Vienna office because my whole process was finished in only 2 MONTHS!
Here are the dates:
1.App. filed: JUNE 25th to MIssissauga office
2.AOR received: AUGUST 6th
3.Passport req.: AUGUST 30th ( request received via email)
4.Visa issued: AUGUST 31st in Vienna
TOTAL: 67days!
I dont know if we were just lucky or our papers were done so correctly that everything was done in such short period!
Furthermore, the purporse of my post is to share this good experience and encourage all of you who are still waiting for the responce and also to help and answer any questions you may have!

Congrats for your visa.I have same experince with sydney australia office.They processed my file in just 67 days also and i received my visa on 18 aug .wish u really gud luck with your new life in canada .

That's wonderful. I am so glad that people have good experiences too. I am so nervous filing, b/c I am so afraid to do something incorrectly. I just hope our application goes as smoothly as yours. Congratulations!

Congrats that was exceptionally fast! Looks to me as if it may have been a bit of both Luck and Preparation on your part I am in a similar position so Far..waiting for my Visa to be issued..

If ALL your fees are paid and processed, Your forms are filled out correctly, you provide ALL the information CIC needs to do minimal checks then your process can be fast...Your job is to provide as much proof as you can to back up your story so that CIC doesnt need to take a lot of time verifying your details! I see it as "Help the IO help you"

Wow congrats!! I'm sure there is a bit of luck involved with this but as britincanada mentioned, it also has to do with preparation. Could you elaborate on how you prepared your files? We have already submitted ours, but I'm just curious about whether or not we will be as lucky and have prepared enough!! I'm sure you remember the torture of waiting...

Well the other major factor in all of this is simply related to the visa office processing your application. So for someone processing thru Islamabad or Hong Kong, this can't be within the realm of possibility

It's good to hear such cases, but we need to keep things in perspective as each case is very unique and each VO has different set of requirements and ways of processing the apps!

I just hope we were given the choice of which VO we process thru haha.. but all in all, if any case is straight forward with all required docs being submitted along with payment of fees, then it fairly reasonable to expect the process to complete within the 30-80% processing time for that VO.
