a gap in working experience

hello everyone!!

i am planning to apply for QSW. i am a nurse, single and with more than 2 years paid exp. but my concern is i have a gap of more than one year in my working experience, i am not working as a nurse or any job as of the moment... do you think it would be a problem with my application? please anyone any input is very much appreciated...thank you!

if you are unemployed, you can write in form "UNEMPLOYED" for that period.

There is no harm in that

Dont worry. Even Canada/USA/UK have high unemployment times during recession. This is absolutely normal.

you can write "searching for employment" to make it sound proactive. Having employment gaps is normal and should not affect your application
