That is super fast...considering processing times in the Philippines is not that "usually" fast...
Then....everything must have changed....

That's cool. If we convert these to months, its 5-5.5 months, which is even shorter than the guideline of 6-12 months.

My case is also right on track, and I am hoping to receive the Visa by September 2009.

In my opinion, IT professionals get the top most priority now; at least the cases I have heard. What other members think ?

It looks like the IT field is most needed in Canada at the moment. I know of someone who got her Permanent resident visa this same way and almost the same time scale , under the Computer & Info Systems Manager-NOC 0213. From Hong Kong visa office.
