According to CIC the simplified application was introduced to reduce wait times and also it was said that cic no longer needs to accept all the applictions it rejects those which are not required yet and accepts those with high demand in the labour market and some applications are accepted for future considration... now the point is that ppl applied with this hope that if their application is accepted they will sooner or later get immigration otherwise they'll get the refund of their fee (in case of rejection).... now if some 1's application is accepted by cic it means he/she could not be rejected (according to simplified application policy) but according to new policy which is yet to be announced, if some 1's occupation dose not meet with the list of 38 occupations he/she whould be directed to PNC and if he also doesn't qualifies for this cattegory.... whats the option left for him/her....? if then he/she gets the refund then what about the policy of simplified application process announced earlier? how can cic change their conditions all the time in my opinion if an application gets acknowlagement it should be finalised otherwise regected on the very 1st stage....

CIC is only trying to make the system better. They have clogged up the system with about 1 million people right now and what has been happening is that because it is on a first come first served and it not based on occupation, they are wasting their own time as well as the applicants to approve people whose profession is not in demand which is delaying the processing of the people who are in demand. They are changing so that in the future they will make it faster for the people in demand and for the people who are not in demand it will be harder to go.

They will finish the applications under the old system that were already in before February 27 when they announced they were planning to change the rules. I don't think it's a good situation we have had since then that we know we are under new rules but the new rules are not posted so nobody knows where they stand. I think they should have waited to announce it until they were ready to post the rules.

I agree because its making it harder to understand as my husband applied immigration after feb 27 and we got our acknowlagement letter but later on the cic anounced new policy including the list of 38 occupations when we got the acknowlagement we thought that now we will get the immigration because our points were upto 85, but know its getting really confusing day by day whether my husband's occupation will going to be there in the list or not... and also that if not then who's gonna help us find a job over there if we have to apply as PNC otherwise we'll have to forget canadian immigration with such nice points.

You can learn french and apply as QSW :)
