Hello guys,

I have seen few conversations in this regard in the forum. However I have some doubts regarding document submission.

As per my ITA, the submission date is April 20th. However, I can see the "days to complete"extended by 30 days. Due to Covid-19 lock-down I am unable collect the entire list of documents. In this case should I submit an incomplete form on 20th April with a letter of explanation, or I need to submit it only by May 20th(after the 30 days extension).
I have seen in few threads that we need to submit the incomplete application with a LOE?
Please provide some clarity guys as I am nearing the deadline.

Send in a webform indicating that due to covid 19 you are unable to gather the documents in 30 days and need an extension. Indicate you will get the documents as soon as possible. Indicate if offices are closed or processing is slower. You will likely not hear back for a while but they will be flexible within reason. When you are able to get the documents get them ASAP and not a year fromnow :)

Hi @canuck78 , Thanks for your reply :). I believe once the lock down is lifted, it wont take me more than 5 days to complete document collection process. My real concern is that should I submit an incomplete form before April 20th with LOE (deadline indicated on the ITA) or I can wait till May 20th(the 30 days extended deadline now shown on the profile page)? I am hopeful if lock-down gets lifted by May 1st week, I can finish off the process.

Also I believe the solution you have indicated is applicable after the May 20th deadline, in my case, right?
