I applied on June 11 from Bangladesh. Got medical request on 15 July, had them done on 16 and they were uploaded on 17 July. No progress with the application. My husband has applied for a visit visa, he was requested biometrics for a second time, which was submitted on 2 July-two months and he still does not have his passport. My funding is based on timely submission of study permit which I have already missed-the Uni might consider for sometime but not very long. Tensed.

It shouldn't take that long after medical. Did you submit your passport ? I think you should go and talk to Vfs ppl and use the case specific enquiries option in the Singapore cic website.

I know it should be 3 weeks max. I submitted my passport on 17 July. Went to VFS yesterday-they checked and said they do not have the passport and will let us know as soon as the passports arrive. The visa office is located in Singapore and they have closed the case specific enquiry form. I have sent several e-mails to immigration office-no response.I am feeling terrible. This should not have been the case-I have been to Canada as a student before and returned even before my permit expired.

That's sad. I submitted my passport on the 3rd and received the approval email two days back. Anyways good luck. I hope you get your reply soon.

I am shocked by the response received. After my medical examination I was informed by the med center that due to a server down they had to upload my results via UMI file and I should provided a copy to VFS. VFS said this was not possible and I should e-mail to Singapore Office. Which I did on 22 July and followed up with several e-mails. Now after so long they are asking me for my UMI number so that they might find it out.Sent them yesterday and there is no response yet. I tries to call only to find out they do not respond to queries on phone.
